Education & Market Interests

Patrick Scott is a Fordham GSB finance graduate with a strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomic dynamics, and how risk, information, and capital are expressed through traded instruments. He currently works as a Budgeting & Forecasting Analyst at the Archdiocese of New York, where he supports financial planning and forward-looking analysis across a large, multi-entity institutional budget, translating complex financial data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.

He earned a B.S. in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, graduating Magna Cum Laude, with academic training in investments, financial modeling, corporate finance, and derivatives. His coursework in futures and options shaped an early interest in how risk is transferred and priced across markets. He further developed this perspective during summer study at the London School of Economics, examining financial crises and systemic risk, with a focus on how macroeconomic shocks, policy decisions, and investor behavior propagate through financial systems.

Alongside his academic training, Patrick gained commercial and analytical exposure through a multi-year internship at ScottPharma, where he combined financial analysis with direct engagement with institutional clients. Viale View was founded as an independent platform to synthesize macroeconomic developments, sector trends, and company-specific fundamentals into structured analysis, reflecting an ongoing engagement with markets and how information is interpreted and communicated in practice.
